Choolips continues to blossom as a fresh, innovative thinking Lifestyle Brand. Founded in 2003 by Lifestyle Designer Annegret Affolderbach, it brings to life little dreams of Lifestyle Design in the form of naturally sexy garments for petite women & accessories of alluring taste.
Choolips’ debut collection for petite women was launched at London Fashion Week Autumn 2003. It has also sold in boutiques in London & New York City.
Choolips also gets busy in showbiz, textile design, art directing & much more.
Choolips’ particularly imaginative & unique ideas in Holographic Textiles most recently resulted in a nomination for GWIIN Awards – Female Innovator & Inventor of the year 2005 & a Royal Design Institute Scholarship Award.

Choolips is supported by the Prince’s Trust, the Enfield Enterprise Agency & Business Link.
Choolips has previously developed successful sponsor relations with Sainsbury’s, Dr.Marten’s, The Norwegian Embassy, Lambeth Council & individual corporate associates.

The launchpad for Choolips’ future will be a collection of contemporary kimono. Choolips’ collection of kimono will be fusing African, Japanese & British textile traditions to celebrate & preserve their kindred cultural gifts & individual heritage.
This distinctive collection will be produced collaborating with local craftspeople in Africa & the UK. It will raise the public’s awareness of urging issues such as HIV & Poverty in Africa. Choolips is also seeking to highlight Africa’s resources with the area of fashion & textiles in order to empower trade for local people & open possibilities for the future of arts/design workshops/schools in Africa as platforms of international education & opportunity between Africa & the Western World.
In order to grow Choolips into a global brand & ethical enterprise it is aiming to increase its income through sponsorship. It is developing strong relationships with local & international communities & the corporate sector for the support of a global space of trade opportunity, cultural exchange & education.
Choolips will expand its already high standards of design by celebrating innovation & crafts heritage in collaboration with other Creatives.

Choolips aspires to expand its audience by introducing 'The Kimono Collection' at London Fashion Week to an international selection of buyers, press, creative industries & corporate clients.
